Curing muscle problems from Pranayam

Curing muscle problems from Pranayam

Jyotishmatee Yoga Sutra  - #40

Meaning - There is nothing one cannot achieve with Pranayam in this world. Laziness, tiredness, muscle sprain, muscle diseases and even diseases of Vata imbalance can be certainly cured from Pranayam.

Practicing Pranayam for years can create miracles. A simple Bhastrika or Bhramari can bring amazing health improvements. It can cure chronic diseases too. Then why is it that they don’t work on everyone or in every case ?

Healing is a very spiritual concept. A person can be healed by his or her own energy. Energy can be certainly borrowed from others like in Rekhi. But eventually the concept is that, one needs to have this reserve of spiritual energy.

This energy is obtained through Pranayam.

We are talking of spiritual energy, not physical power exerted during pranayam. This spiritual energy comes from various virtuous practices and purity of thoughts.

For these Ahimsa, peace with one’s own circumstances and compassion not envy towards all is absolutely necessary.

Along with this, brahmacharya in thoughts, words, action and imagination is necessary.

Also, a strong bond of devotion to The Supreme Lord is necessary, as He is the one who bestows us with the power of the Lord of Prana.

This is a second muscle sprain that is cured by the Pranayam Technique. Of course, all the muscles and body aches originate due to some problem or malfunction in the spine.

So the TriBha Pranayam has effectively proved this part to me in practice.

The world is full of distractions. The beings are always projecting their thoughts on to the space all around. The feeling of peace and respect to the Aatman is achieved by either achieving something splendid in the material world or spiritually establishing a connection with the Supreme Lord. The second one is easier once the mind is cleansed of all worldly desires for achieving things in the material world.

All that would be left behind. Only the spiritual progress would be carried forward. So, it is necessary to reduce worldly involvements. One should Involve in actions that are necessary for sustaining a simple life that supports a life of complete peace in Pranayam.

Worldly pleasures are not needed in the first place. And the energy of Pranayam, will bring forth sufficient blessing to sustain life in ways which are benevolent to the society.

Practice – Practice the Praanayam, Chanting of Gita verses every day. Observe your breathing. Also, try to focus on every part of the body as you keep up the Pranayam. Practice Pranayam for half an hour and then redirect the earned energy to the place of wound or disease or pain. In about four trials of energy transference, the relief can be observed. If not, repeat this everyday till the pain disappears. Through the days, maintain Brahmacharya and the above said lifestyle.
